My 2025 in Pictures
My 2025 in Picures is a reflective look at a year of growth, firsts, and realignment: from freelancing, paralegal training, family, creativity, and choosing to live authentically.
LIFE

My 2025 was a good year, the kind of year that quietly proves to you that choosing yourself was the right decision.
It was the year I started truly achieving the dreams I once whispered to myself.
From Survival to Self-Trust
I began freelancing in 2023 with one clear intention: to live authentically while still being able to pursue my goals and support myself and the people I love and care about.
For many years, survival came first.
After my father passed away from cancer in 2014, I became my family's breadwinner.
I showed up, did what was needed to be done, and learned how to fit myself into standards that weren't mine.
I was functioning but, I wasn't fully living.
In 2023, I said goodbye to that version of myself.
When The Leap Finally Pays Off
By 2025, that leap of faith began to show its rewards.
One of my biggest milestones this year was finally starting my paralegal training in civil law, a long-held goal that once felt out of reach. Someday, I plan to earn my paralegal certification, and 2025 marked the first real step towards that future.
Professionally, this year was also about building systems, not just for my clients but also for myself.
I streamlined workflows, organized processes and folders, and even created systems that were sustainable, efficient, and accessible. The kind that allows businesses, people, and myself to breathe.
Expanding My Skill Set
2025 wasn't only about refining what I already knew, it was also about growing professionally.
This year, I honed my existing skills while gaining new ones, including:
Legal case management
E-commerce Operations
Systems Building
Each new skill added another layer of confidence and clarity to the work I do for myself and others.
Reconnecting With My Creative Side
Besides structures and systems, 2025 invited me back to creativity.
Although short-lived, I worked with a client who allowed me to explore my artistic side and this sparked that creative side I have hidden for so long. They allowed me to create, experiment, and reconnect with things that makes me tick. It reminded me that creativity will always be part of who I am, even when most of my work is rooted in logic and organization.
A Year of Firsts and Family
This year also came with personal milestones I'll always treasure.
For the first time, I hopped on a plane; after years of creating travel itineraries for others, I finally experienced it for myself. More importantly, I was able to bring my mom with me and reconnect her with her siblings in Manila.
In August, we traveled to her hometown and reunited with her old friends.
I wasn't the main character in those stories, but that was the best part. Being able to do something meaningful for my mom felt llike a full-circle moment.

Slowing Down to Realign
The Davao earthquake last 11 Oct 2025 asked me to slow down.
While it meant coming back down to earth, it also gave me the space to reflect, realign, and reconnect with my deeper goals. Sometimes, growth doesn't look like momentum, but sometimes it looks like: pause, perspective, and patience.
Looking Ahead
The holidays offered me the pause I needed to go through the motions, and as I continue navigating the ups and downs, I remain confident in my ability to bounce back, show up, and live authentically: again and again.
2025 reminded me that progress doesn't always need to announce itself loudly, sometimes, it simply shows up as proof that you're finally on your own path.
Warmly,
Reg
